Bring your subjects to life with pencil and paper in our expertly-led Drawing Portraits class. Our skilled instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of capturing facial features, proportions, and expressions. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, this class offers a supportive and challenging learning environment. You'll have the opportunity to practice your technique with a variety of subject matter. This course is designed for those seeking foundational skills and looking to refine their technical mastery. This class meets every other week for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Our goals for this course: - Mapping the Face: Universal proportions and the basic "block-in." - Feature Focus: The structural anatomy of the eyes, nose, and mouth. - Tonal Mastery: Using vine charcoal and graphite to define light on the form. - The Final Likeness: Completing a polished portrait from a photo reference. Our 100-minute bi-weekly classes provide students with the opportunity to progressively develop skills over time. Students advance from level 0 (beginner) to level 4 (master proficiency) and earn Lune Spark Level Certifications along the way. In the event a student decides to withdraw after their initial session, a full refund is offered. **FORMAT: This class meets weekly for 50 mins. You will now pay one-time registration fees of $50 to secure a spot. When you show up for your first class—you'll be placed on a monthly subscription plan you can pause or cancel any time. If you enjoyed your first class, then we’ll see you next week, same time, same place. If you didn’t enjoy your first class, your subscription will be canceled, with full refund.
